(A) Unless otherwise specified in the particular section for which the person stands convicted of violating, the penalty for violating any provision of this code declaring such act to be a misdemeanor, infraction, nuisance or otherwise unlawful shall be fined in an amount not more than $100 plus cost of the acts.

(B) Whenever a nuisance exists as defined in this code, the municipality may proceed by lawsuit in equity to enjoin and abate the same in the manner provided by law. Whenever in any action it is established that a nuisance exists, the court may together with the fine or penalty impose or enter an order of abatement as a part of judgment in the case.
