When the owner of an injured, sick, or diseased animal can be located, it shall be the owner’s responsibility to provide veterinary care for the animal or authorize Animal Control to humanely euthanize the animal. If the animal is severely injured, sick, or diseased, the animal shall be destroyed in a humane manner under the direction of the ACO.
