(a) It shall be unlawful for any person to hunt any animal within the corporate limits of the town either by means of any weapon or other animal. It shall be unlawful to use dogs to chase or trap any animal.
(b) Nothing in this section shall prohibit actions by legal authorities necessary to hunt or trap animals for reasons of public health or safety.
