When "no U turn" signs are placed at those locations designated as locations for such signs by ordinance of the council, no person shall make a U turn at any such location. A schedule of such locations shall be maintained on file in the office of the town clerk; provided, that U turns are prohibited at all street intersections where electric traffic-control devices are located, and it shall not be necessary to erect "no U turn" signs at such intersections.
