Upon those streets or portions of streets designated as one-way streets by ordinance of the council, no person shall operate a vehicle except in the indicated direction when signs have been placed, erected or installed and maintained at every intersection where movement in the opposite direction is prohibited. A schedule of such one-way streets or portions of such streets shall be maintained on file in the office of the town clerk.
