Sec. 16-27. Riding, driving, etc., animals on sidewalks, footways, etc.

   It shall be unlawful for any person to ride, lead or drive, or cause to be ridden, lead or driven, any horse or other animal, except a dog, upon any curb, sidewalk or footway in the town, except for the purpose of crossing such sidewalk on the entranceway to adjacent lots, and then only for the purpose of going into or out of such lots.
