Sec. 15-1. Definitions.
   The following words, terms and phrases, when used in this chapter, shall have the meanings ascribed to them in this section, except where the context clearly indicates a different meaning:
   Garbage means the animal and vegetable waste resulting from the handling, preparation, cooking and consumption of food, containing a minimum amount of free liquid, not including moisture that may be drained into the sewer. Household appliances, tires, batteries, petroleum products, chemicals, construction debris and other similar non household generated trash shall be the responsibility of the property owner or occupant to dispose of such items pursuant to applicable law, rules and regulations.
   Trash means all refuse resulting from construction materials to be disposed, the use and maintenance of property, regardless of the nature of the activity thereon, except garbage.
