It is recognized that boating and watercraft use in Surf City is a widely enjoyed form of leisure and recreation. It is equally recognized that some owners do not safely and properly dispose of their boats or watercraft.
The Town of Surf City Council hereby determines that the following rules and regulations are necessary in order to protect the health, safety and general welfare of the citizens of the Town using the public waters within the jurisdictional boundaries of the Town of Surf City.
