A. Building Permit Fee Table: Building permit fees are based on the total construction value using the chart below unless a flat rate fee is specified.

LOCAL JURISDICTIONAL PLAN CHECK FEES: Building permit fee shall be calculated according to the table above. An additional 65% of the building permit fee shall be paid as plan check fee (excluding: additions, alterations and repairs to residential structures with a valuation amount less than $50,000) and an additional amount, 40% of the plan check fee, shall be paid for the Fire Department plan check fee. | |
Other Inspections And Fees: 1. Inspections outside of normal business hours (minimum charge - two hours): $65.00 per hour.* 2. Inspection for which no fee is specifically indicated (minimum fee - one half hour): $65.00 per hour.* 3. For use of outside consultants for plan checking and inspections or both: Actual Costs.** 4. Existing Deck Repair (minimum): $150.00. 5. Re-Roof Permit (minimum): $150.00. 6. Demolition Permit: $150.00 (flat fee). 7. Minimum Permit Charge: $150.00. 8. Solar Permit Fee: $350.00 (flat fee). 9. Grading Permit Fee: Determined by the building permit fee table above based on the total value of grading work. 10. City Engineer Fee: City engineer fees may be billed to an applicant and shall be based on time and materials.*** | |

This cost shall include supervision, overhead, equipment, hourly wages and fringe benefits of the employees involved. **Actual costs include administrative and overhead cost. ***City engineer review may be required during the building permit review process. Examples of projects which may require City engineer review include, but are not limited to, proposed construction in avalanche risk or flood zone areas. City engineer review may be determined to be required by the Community Development Director or Building Official. B. Fire Permit Fees:
1. Fire Permits: Fire permits are issued for work defined exclusively under the provisions of the International Fire Code. Examples of work requiring a fire permit include but are not limited to tents, canopies, membrane structures, and temporary structures.
2. Fire Permit Fees: Fire permit fees shall be determined by the Fire Code Official or Fire Chief. (Res. 2020-13, 12-3-2020; amd. Res. 2023-12, 9-7-2023)
