§ 50.16 DEFINITIONS.
   For the purpose of this subchapter, the following definitions shall apply unless the context clearly indicates or requires a different meaning.
   REGULAR SOURCE OF WATER. The source of water for a lot regularly supplied to that lot during the time period prior to on the date of filing a water source transfer petition, excluding any source of water supplied as a result of a period of temporary emergency under § 50.18.
   SOURCE OF WATER.
      (1)   City of Austin water, provided through the City of Austin and billed through the City of Sunset Valley;
      (2)   The city ground water well system maintained by the city and originating in the Edwards Aquifer; or
      (3)   Water obtained from a private well located on the residential property.
   WATER SOURCE TRANSFER PETITION. A petition requesting a transfer from the regular source of water for that water supply area to another available source of water. A valid WATER SOURCE TRANSFER PETITION must contain notarized signatures from at least a majority of the owners representing of over 66% of the legal lots located in that water supply area. A WATER SOURCE TRANSFER PETITION shall, at the top of each page of the petition, state the water supply area to which the petition pertains, the regular source of water of that water supply area and state that the signatories of the petition request transfer to another source of water and specifying the new available source of water.
   WATER SUPPLY AREA. Any one of the following areas of the city:
      (1)   Country White, consisting of lots with residential addresses on Country White Lane or within the city’s extraterritorial jurisdiction bordered on the east by Brodie Lane;
      (2)   Oakdale, consisting of lots with addresses on Oakdale Drive and Brodie Lane within the city;
      (3)   Sunset Valley Well Area, consisting of lots with addresses on Jones Road, Reese Drive, Pillow Road, Lone Oak Trail and Sunset Trail;
      (4)   Stearns Lane, consisting of residential lots with addresses on Stearns Lane, including those addresses within the city’s extraterritorial jurisdiction and on Highway 290;
      (5)   Sunset Valley Meadows, consisting of lots with addresses on Yellowtail Cove, Lovegrass Lane and Curley Mesquite Cove; and
      (6)   The Sunset Valley Villas, consisting of lots with addresses on Sunflower Trail.
