Pursuant to Tex. Transportation Code § 545.425(b-2), the City Council hereby directs and authorizes the City Administrator to take all actions necessary to effect installation of signs located at all points where, roads, state highways, U.S. highways, and interstate highways enter into the city limits, informing vehicle operators that using hand-held communication devices while operating a vehicle is strictly prohibited and that violators are subject to a fine.
