§ 37.03 NOTICE REQUIREMENT.
   (A)   Provided that the City Council has approved the list of items to be sold pursuant to § 37.02, the City Administrator or his or her designee shall:
      (1)   Post on the city's website information detailing the sale of any surplus, salvage, or data processing property with a value exceeding $1,000;
      (2)   Publicly post and mail to each resident and employee of the city a notice of the sale of any surplus, salvage, or data processing property with a value under $1,000.
   (B)   The notice shall provide a reasonable description of the property, state whether the sale will be made through a public auction or competitive sealed bids, and must provide the date, time, place, and manner in which bids will be received; and
   (C)   The notice shall be posted at least ten days prior to the auction.
