(A) It is the duty of each person in control of an animal to promptly remove feces left by such animal on property not belonging to the person in control of the animal. In regards to horses within the greenspace and conservation areas, removing manure off the trail is sufficient.
(B) It shall be the duty of each person in control of an animal to be in possession of materials to remove feces left by such animals.
(C) It is an affirmative defense to prosecution under this section that the person in control of the animal is the owner of property or has permission from the owner of a property to allow the animal to defecate on the property.
