§ 51.065 DETERMINATION BY CITY OF THE CHARACTER AND CONCENTRATION OF POLLUTANTS.
   The wastewater discharged or deposited to the POTW by persons classified as significant industrial users shall be subject to inspection and sampling on at least an annual basis and more frequently if the Director determines that more frequent inspections and sampling are necessary to protect the POTW. The wastewater discharged or deposited to the POTW by persons not classified as significant industrial users shall be subject to periodic inspection and sampling as often as may be deemed necessary by the Director. Samples shall be collected in a manner as to be representative of the character and concentration of the wastewater under operational conditions. The laboratory methods used in the examination of the samples shall be those set forth in the Approved Methods. The sampling schedule or program for determining the character and concentration of wastewater shall be determined by the Director. Should the person discharging wastewater containing prohibited waste to the POTW desire that a determination of the quality of the wastewater be made at some time other than that scheduled by the Director, the special determination may be made by the Director at the expense of the person.
