§ 10.22 BURDEN OF PROVING EXCEPTION.
   In any prosecution for a violation of any provision of this code, upon proof of the provisions of the code, it shall not be necessary to negate any exception, excuse, proviso or exemption contained in the code and the burden or proof of any exception, excuse, proviso or exemption shall be upon the defendant.
