(A) The town shall establish the standard workday, workweek, and starting and quitting times, taking into account current and anticipated workloads, public service needs, and other factors. No established schedule shall be construed as a guarantee of work hours or as a restriction of the town’s right to restructure the workday or workweek.
(B) Employees will be given a 60-minute lunch break with 30 minutes being non-paid.
(C) Operational needs and/or emergencies, however, may necessitate the establishment of other work hours, days, or weeks on a temporary or permanent basis.
