§ 35.046  BREASTFEEDING ACCOMMODATIONS.
   The town supports breastfeeding mothers by accommodating the mother who wishes to express milk during her workday when separated from her newborn child. In accordance with the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act, being 29 U.S.C. § 207(r), any full-time employee who is breastfeeding will be provided up to two break periods of 20 minutes each to express milk for her newborn. Also, a reasonable place to express milk, other than a restroom, will be provided for the mother. Such space will be shielded from view and free from intrusion from others. The employee and their supervisor will agree on the times and location options for these breaks. In addition, the town will provide an area for the milk to be stored.
