(A) The town may temporarily close or limit services because of an epidemic, pandemic, or public health emergency if the following occur:
(1) A mandate, order, or recommendation for closure is issued by the County Health Department, State Department of Health or federal officials; and
(2) If a town employee has been diagnosed with the epidemic or pandemic, the Board may temporarily close the building(s).
(B) The Board may temporarily close, reduce operating hours, or limit services in the event that there is insufficient healthy staff to maintain basic service levels or to reduce the possible spread of the contagion.
