A special event permit may be revoked by the City Clerk (or in the case of a residential block party, the Director of Public Works) at any time when such revocation is deemed necessary to protect the public health and safety or to protect property from imminent harm. Permits shall also be revoked if the applicant fails to timely pay any necessary deposits required by the City. Nothing in this Section shall limit the ability of a department of the City to take remedial or preventative action under authority of any ordinance or Code provision that operates independently of this Chapter.
