(a) Residential trash, refuse and recycling pickup within the limits of the Village of Sunbury is hereby designated to take place on Wednesdays and Thursdays between the hours of 7:00 a.m. and 7:00 p.m. Trash, refuse and recycling collection on other than designated days and times is hereby prohibited. With the exception of a holiday week when pickup days may be altered, residents may set their trash and recycling out the night before pickup and shall have empty containers removed from the curb by the same evening as the scheduled pickup.
(b) Non-residential trash, refuse and recycling pickup within the Village of Sunbury is hereby restricted to take place between the hours of 7:00 a.m. and 7:00 p.m.
(c) Whoever violates this ordinance shall be guilty of a minor misdemeanor. The penalty for violating this ordinance shall be no less than one hundred dollars ($100.00) plus court costs for a first offense. A subsequent offense shall be a fourth degree misdemeanor with a maximum penalty of two hundred fifty dollars ($250.00) plus court costs per offense.
