(a) The Mayor is authorized to appoint a qualified Magistrate to conduct Mayor’s Court, from time to time, who shall meet the educational and professional requirements of the Ohio Revised Code and Mayor’s Court Rule 3 of the Mayor’s Court Education and Procedure Rules.
(b) A Mayor’s Court Magistrate appointed by the Mayor pursuant to Ohio R.C. 1905.05 shall be compensated in an amount not to exceed two hundred fifty dollars ($250.00) per session of Mayor’s Court attended and held by the Magistrate, said compensation to be paid as on a contractual basis without further benefit from the Village of Sunbury to the Magistrate.
