139.06 EQUAL EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITY POLICY.
   The Village of Sunbury believes in a policy of non-discrimination against any individual on the basis of race, creed, color, sex, disability, religion, handicap, age, or national origin, veteran status, or any other protected characteristic in accordance with applicable law. This policy applies to all terms and conditions of employment. As a result of the Village's commitment to equal employment opportunity, it will continue to:
   (a)   Recruit, hire, train and promote persons in all job titles, without regard to race, creed, color, religion, sex, age, national origin, disability, veteran status or any other basis prohibited by law.
   (b)   Base decisions on employment so as to further the principle of equal employment opportunity.
