A motor vehicle that is exempt from the registration fee under Utah Code Annotated, 1953, section 41-1a-1209 or subsection 41-1a-419(3), as currently amended, is also exempt from this local option transportation corridor preservation fee. A commercial motor vehicle with a portioned registration under Utah Code Annotated, 1953, section 41-1a-301, as currently amended, is exempt from the local option transportation corridor preservation fee.
