5-3-10: MOTOR VEHICLE NOISE:

No person shall operate or cause to be operated any motor vehicle unless the exhaust system is free from defects that affect sound reduction, equipped with a muffler or other noise dissipative device, and not equipped with any cutout, bypass or similar device. (Ord. 316-B, 4-6-2011)
