The purpose of this chapter is to establish guidelines and standards concerning the use of sanitary sewers in the Summit County Metropolitan Sewer District to prevent the introduction of pollutants which may interfere with the normal operation of the system or contaminate the resulting sludge, and to prevent the introduction of pollutants which do not receive adequate treatment in the sewage disposal system, and to improve the opportunity to recycle and reclaim wastewater and sludge.
