1349.01 PURPOSE.
Low Density Residential Districts are designed for the special needs of areas where soil, slope, and access conditions severely limit development. A density standard of one acre per dwelling unit provides for low density residential uses and discourages isolated high density residential development in areas that require on-lot water and sewage systems. It also helps to control soil erosion and promotes conservation of agricultural and woodland areas.
