(a) Application. The applicant or applicants for a yard/garage sale permit shall file a written application with the Recorder at least three (3) days in advance of the proposed sale setting forth the following information:
(1) Full name and address of applicant or applicants.
(2) The location at which the proposed yard/garage sale is to be held.
(3) The date or dates upon which the sale will be held.
(4) The date or dates of any other yard/ garage sales by the same applicant or applicants within the current calendar year.
(5) A statement that the property to be sold was owned by the applicant as his/her own personal property and was neither acquired nor consigned for the purpose of resale.
(6) A statement that the applicant will fully comply with this and all other applicable ordinances and laws.
(b) Permit Fee. There will be no permit fee for the first two (2) garage/yard sales in any calendar year. A permit fee of twenty-five dollars ($25.00) shall accompany the application for a third garage/yard sale in any calendar year.
(c) Issuance of Permit. Upon the applicant complying with the terms of this article, the Recorder shall issue a permit.
