(a) No person shall directly or indirectly sell or offer for sale or solicit the purchase or sale of glue which contains acetone or carbon tetrachloride, either or both, to any person under the age of twenty-one years, unless such person or prospective purchaser is accompanied by a parent or guardian who is over eighteen years of age and who consents to such sale and purchase of such glue.
(b) The sale of glue containing acetone or carbon tetrachloride, either or both, to persons eighteen years of age and over is not prohibited by this section.
