(a) If a conviction for an offense defined in Section 333.01 is the judgment of a Municipal Court Judge, the Clerk or Recorder shall forward such transcript when the person convicted has not perfected an appeal within ten days from and after the date upon which the sentence is imposed.
(b) For the purposes of this section, a person is convicted when such person enters a plea of guilty or is found guilty by a court or jury.
