1119.01 DEFINITIONS.
   As used in this article:
   (a)    "Litter" means all waste material including, but not limited to, any garbage, refuse, trash, disposable package container, can, bottle, paper, ashes, cigarette or cigar butt, carcass of any dead animal, or any part thereof, or any other offense or unsightly matter, but not including the waste of primary processes of mining, logging, sawmilling, farming, or manufacturing.
   (b)    "Litter receptacle" means those containers suitable for the depositing of litter at each respective public area.
   (c)    "Public area" means any area held open for unrestricted access by the general public.
   (d)    "Private area" means any area not open to the general public.
   (e)    "Rubbish" means combustible or non-combustible waste materials, except garbage, that may be discarded other than general household garbage.
   (f)    "Garbage" means any animal or vegetable waste resulting from the handling, preparation, cooking and consumption of food.
   (g)    "Approved garbage or trash containers" means an approved leak-proof covered outdoor container with close fitting covers or approved refuse collection container provided by the sanitation company.
   (h)    "Dwelling unit" means a single unit providing complete, independent living facilities for one or more persons, including permanent provisions for living, sleeping, eating, cooking and sanitation. (Ord. 6-26-17.)
