Driveways connecting to West Virginia State Highways shall be subject to the WVDOT Driveway Design Manual rules and regulations and a State Permit and inspection shall be required by the WVDOH Inspector. The same design standards may apply to driveways connecting to city streets, Provided, however, the permit shall be obtained by submitting plans and a permit application to the City of Summersville Office. The City's Subdivision Improvements and Construction Requirements in Article 1313 of this Codified Ordinance may be used as a design guide, Provided, however, that additional design may be required by the City of Summersville as deemed necessary for some installations. Inspections shall be required for driveway modifications connecting to city streets. Parking requirements are subject to Article 1381.
