139.46 EMPLOYEE ORIENTATION.
   The COS provides each new employee with a brief orientation of the City and its policies and procedures. Orientation will establish requirements and procedures of the job and any other pertinent material.
   1.   An orientation is conducted for all newly hired employees typically on their start date.
   2.   On the first day of work new employees should be welcomed by their supervisor and introduced to co-workers and other supervisory and management representatives.
   3.   The new employee's immediate supervisor is responsible for reviewing general expectations of job performance and behavior and specific job requirements.
   4.   Employees are encouraged to ask questions and seek guidance on any policies, procedures, subjects or issues affecting their job or employment relationship.
