COS provides workers' compensation insurance coverage for injuries that occur in the course of and resulting from employment. If an employee is involved in a work-related accident or injury, the employee must immediately report the accident or injury in writing, no matter how slight, to their Supervisor and to HR.
Employees are required to complete and submit an accident report for all work-related injuries. This is to be done as soon as possible. Failure to properly report work-related injuries may jeopardize the employee's eligibility for benefits.
COS will not tolerate any acts of fraud or misrepresentation regarding workers' compensation claims. Such conduct will be reported to the proper authorities.
