139.26 JURY DUTY.
   As an employer COS recognizes the need to assist employees in fulfilling their civic responsibilities without loss of pay when required to perform jury or witness duty.
   If an employee is called to serve as a juror, the COS will pay the difference between the employee's standard rate of pay and the jury duty fees received. A copy of the Court Order must be provided to your Supervisor when requesting time off. If an employee is called to serve as a juror and the Judge dismisses the jury early, he or she is to return to work for the remainder of the day.
   It is not the policy of COS to attempt to secure any postponement or delay from the court when an employee is duly summoned to perform jury or witness duty.
