It shall be the policy of COS to categorize employees under one or more of the following categories:
Full-time
A full-time employee is one who is regularly assigned to work more than thirty (30) straight time hours per week.
Part-time
A part-time employee is one who is regularly assigned to work less than thirty (30) straight time hours per week. (Excluded from employee benefits)
Seasonal or Temporary
Anyone employed for a specifically defined period or task that shall be terminated at the conclusion of the period or task shall be considered a temporary employee. (Excluded from employee benefits)
Contractor
Any person, firm or corporation employed for a specific "purchase of services" or like agreement that receives gross monetary consideration according to the terms of a written agreement shall be known as a contractor. Contractors are not entitled to any employee benefits including withholding of taxes or other usual statutory deduction.
