No officer, agent, or employee of the borough’s Electric Department shall demand or accept any compensation or reward from any subscriber or other person for services rendered in connection with the electric system, it being the intent of this section that all officers, agents, and employees of the borough’s Electric Department shall be compensated for such services solely, by salaries and/or wages paid therefor by the borough.
