The office of Building Inspector for the town is hereby created. The Building Inspector shall be appointed by Council or Town Council may elect to contract for building inspection services. The function shall be in the Department of General Administration, subject to the direction of the Town Council and its Committee on Buildings and Construction. Building inspection may be a full-time or part-time employee or a contracted service, as the Council from time to time shall determine.
