Any town funds deposited shall be subject to the joint order of the Mayor and the Town Clerk, provided, that in the absence or disability of the Mayor, the Mayor Pro Tem shall have the authority to act for him or her, and in the absence of both of them, the Chairperson of the Committee on Ways and Means shall act, and in the absence or disability of the Town Clerk, the Town Administrator shall have authority to act for him or her.
