In the event of cancellation or expiration of the policy of insurance, required in § 70.065, its license tag, as provided in § 70.057, shall become null and void and shall be immediately surrendered by the owner of the moped to the town’s Police Department, and the operation of the moped after the cancellation of such insurance shall be a misdemeanor.
