§ 70.055 MOPED DEFINED.
   For the purpose of this subchapter, the following definition shall apply unless the context clearly indicates or requires a different meaning.
   MOPED. Any pedal bicycle which is equipped with a pedal-activated helper motor with a manufacturer’s certified maximum 1.0 brake horsepower which produces only ordinary pedaling speeds up to a maximum of 20 mph.
