§ 30.26 ELECTION OF MAYOR PRO TEMPORE; DUTIES.
   The Town Council, at its annual meeting, shall elect a Council member to serve as Mayor Pro Tempore until the next annual meeting and thereafter until his or her successor shall have been elected and qualified. The Mayor Pro Tempore shall act as Mayor during the absence or disability of the Mayor. If a vacancy occurs in the office of Mayor, the Mayor Pro Tempore shall serve as Mayor until a successor is elected.
