§ 30.04 TERMS OF OFFICE OF COUNCIL MEMBERS.
   The terms of office of Council members shall be for four years; provided, however, that the terms of office of the Council members elected in June, 1977, shall be so staggered so that no more than three members shall be elected at a given election for a regular four-year term, pursuant to S.C. Code § 5-15-40.
