Sidewalk and driveway dimensions shall be as follows.
(A) All sidewalks hereafter constructed or relaid within the corporate limits of the city, unless otherwise determined by the Council, shall be at least four feet wide, except for commercial areas which will be six or more feet in width. Plans for sidewalks along county road right-of-way shall be approved by County Public Works Department.
(B) All driveways hereafter constructed or relaid shall have a maximum width of 35 feet and a minimum width of 12 feet except where otherwise allowed by special permission of the City Council. There shall be a minimum distance of 30 feet between driveways. The edge of a driveway shall not be closer than ten feet from the right-of-way line of public roads nor closer than five feet from private property lines. Two adjoining property owners may be permitted to have a joint driveway with the property line in the driveway.
