In approving a business license, the City Recorder may attach conditions, which he or she finds are necessary to comply with the city’s Development Code, building, fire, and public works standards. Such conditions shall apply to the applicant for such a business license and to any purchaser, renter, lessee, or subsequent owner of the subject business. The City Recorder may grant a temporary business license for up to six months to allow the applicant to comply with the conditions of approval.
