§ 70.09 AUTHORITY OF LAW ENFORCEMENT AND FIRE OFFICERS.
   (A)   It is the duty of law enforcement officers to enforce the provisions of these traffic regulations.
   (B)   If a fire or other public emergency occurs, officers of the law enforcement and fire departments may direct traffic as conditions require, notwithstanding the provisions of these traffic regulations.
