(a) Whoever violates this chapter is guilty of a violation of the parental responsibility ordinance, a minor misdemeanor.
(b) If the offender has been previously convicted of a violation of the parental responsibility ordinance, a violation of this chapter is a misdemeanor of the fourth degree.
(c) Upon the third or subsequent violation, the parent shall be subject to a fine of not less than two hundred and fifty dollars ($250.00), nor more than five hundred dollars ($500.00), and at the discretion of the court, imprisoned for a period of up to sixty days.
