In carrying out the provisions of this chapter, the Mayor is directed to utilize the service, equipment, supplies and facilities of the existing departments, bureaus, offices, commissions, committees, authorities and agencies of the City to the maximum extent practicable. The officers, agents, employees and personnel of all such departments, bureaus, offices, commissions, committees, authorities and agencies of the City, are directed to cooperate with and extend such services and facilities to the Mayor and to the Civil Defense Organization of the City upon request by the Mayor, the Director of Disaster Services or the deputy directors of the Civil Defense Organization.
