§ 31.38 CITATION OFFICER.
   (A)   There is hereby created the nonelected office of Citation Officer. The Citation Officer shall be appointed by the Mayor, with the approval of the City Council, and may be dismissed on the sole authority of the Mayor. The Citation Officer shall have all the powers and duties under KRS 83A.087.
   (B)   The Citation Officer shall be compensated as set forth from time to time by Council, with cost reimbursement and milage at the current federal rate. Liability insurance covering the duties of the Citation Officer will be provided at the city’s cost. The Citation Officer will be supplied with an arm band identification, a T-shirt and jacket, cellular telephone and business cards and any further equipment the Council determines is necessary. In addition, the Citation Officer will be supplied forms for warnings, citations and a log sheet for the activities.
