§ 31.37 CITY TREASURER.
   (A)   The office of Treasurer is hereby created.
   (B)   The holder of the office shall have the powers and duties designated by the Mayor and powers and duties shall be in compliance with all other laws relating to a city of the fourth class in the Commonwealth of Kentucky and in conformance with all city ordinances that are not contrary to state law.
   (C)   The holder of the office shall be administered an oath as provided in KRS 62.010 and 62.020, which shall read as directed under Section 228 of the Constitution of the Commonwealth of Kentucky.
   (D)   The holder of the office shall be bonded, in accordance with § 31.04.
   (E)   The compensation for this office shall be as set from time to time by Council.
   (F)   The holder of this office shall be appointed by the Mayor, and may be removed by the Mayor at will, unless otherwise provided by law.
