(A) The address shall be placed on or about the front of the residence in a manner so as to be visible to vehicles in either direction on the nearest fronting road and numbers which are painted only on the road curb do not comply with this subchapter and single family dwellings that have unusually long set backs shall place the address on the mailbox.
(B) The numbers shall be in standard Arabic form a size at least five inches in height or larger if necessary to be visible from the nearest fronting road, and in a color distinguishable from its background, with the exception that existing posting numerals shall be acceptable hereunder if so visible as to adequately identify each single family dwelling. Exception: single family dwellings with unusually long set backs shall place the address on the mailbox. The numbers shall be in standard Arabic form and a size at least four inches in height or larger if necessary, permanently affixed to the mailbox.
